Viacom18’s Youth, Music and English Entertainment division is expanding its offerings with new shows, digital platforms, and international ventures. The cluster, which includes MTV, Comedy Central, and Colors Infinity, aims to introduce fresh formats while revamping older ones. The division will launch Fully Faltoo, its first short-form video platform, featuring over a dozen new web shows. Alongside this, a dedicated NFT platform will release digital collectibles tied to its iconic brands.
MTV Roadies will break new ground in 2022 with its first-ever international season, set in South Africa. Meanwhile, MTV Hustle 2.0 returns for a second season, continuing its search for India’s next rap star. Colors Infinity will debut The Inventor’s Challenge, a show where amateur inventors build working prototypes of their creations.
A new music platform, KaanPhod, will provide emerging artists with a space to showcase their talent. The cluster’s content generated 9.8 billion impressions across TV, social media, and Voot in the past year.
Anshul Ailawadi, head of the division, confirmed plans to scale up legacy properties and introduce newer formats in the coming fiscal year. The expansion includes short-form videos, NFTs, and international productions, reinforcing the division’s push to dominate entertainment for young audiences. With multiple new shows and platforms, the cluster aims to solidify its position as a leader in youth-focused content.
