BetMGM partners with Light & Wonder to launch 500+ new casino games

BetMGM has agreed a new deal to bring hundreds of games to its platform. The partnership with Light and Wonder will give players access to titles from Design Works Gaming. The first rollout will take place in New Jersey. The agreement connects Design Works Gaming’s content to BetMGM through Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming system. Over 500 games will become available to BetMGM customers as a result. Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s iGaming lead, welcomed the addition of these titles to their platform.

Steve Mayes, head of digital collaborations at Light and Wonder, highlighted Design Works Gaming’s strong reputation in the US. He described the partnership as a promising opportunity for growth. Troy Zurawski, chief executive of Design Works Gaming, also shared his enthusiasm for joining the OpenGaming network and collaborating with BetMGM.

The initial launch is set for New Jersey. Further expansions into other US states are planned for the future. The deal will see BetMGM’s players gain access to a wider selection of games. Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform will serve as the distribution channel. Both companies have indicated plans to extend the partnership beyond New Jersey in time.
