A 28-year-old woman named Claudia B. was on the Hamburg train as an audience member, witnessing the heartfelt performance of an anonymous singer. She used her phone to record the song.

"It was on Easter Sunday, I stepped out of the church at the main station with my kid in tow. I was taken aback by her voice. I was in tears," says the school companion who is 28 years old.
When she's at home with her child, Claudia decides to post the video of the train singer recording on TikTok and do some digging for her identity. The short clip had gained 1.1 million views by the following week. It had gone viral.
"I thought she deserved more than just singing on trains, she was meant for the big stage. That's why it's crucial for me to find and help her," Claudia shared her thoughts.
In her TikTok post, she appealed to others, "The sweet lady has been collecting coins in the train. Small change! We should shower her with money. Tell me if you've heard her voice."
After the performance in the train, the unknown woman made an appeal, "If you like, you can donate a small change." Then she vanished.
Claudia had received clues about Nadja, the singer on the S-Bahn from TikTok users. "It's crucial for me to find her. Others have offered help, and one even wants to use his studio to record. My brother is a musician too."
Recently, the city of Hamburg had introduced measures to enforce the ban on begging in the subway cars. Loudspeakers in the train played messages about the ban, causing debates between supporters and opponents.
