Bold all-in move doubles Curtis Harrison's poker chip lead

A high-stakes poker hand saw Curtis Harrison double his chip count after a bold all-in move. The clash involved Sam Acheampong, who had earlier built his stack to 5,500, and Natalia Breviglieri, who called from the Button. Meanwhile, Glenn Brown exited the tournament after losing with a strong starting hand.

The action began when Curtis Harrison pushed all in for 51,000 from the Small Blind. Sam Acheampong, holding an unrecorded hand, called the bet and risked a significant portion of his chips. Harrison revealed A♥️, 10♠️, while Acheampong’s cards went unnoted.

The showdown ended in Harrison’s favour, doubling his stack to 106,000. Acheampong, however, saw his chips drop sharply to 29,000. Earlier in the tournament, Glenn Brown was eliminated after his pocket jacks (J♥️, J♠️) lost to an opponent’s A♦️, K♣️. The defeat marked his exit from the competition.

Harrison now sits with a stronger position in the tournament after the win. Acheampong, despite the setback, remains in play with a reduced stack. The event continues as players adjust to the shifting chip counts.
