Usher fires dancer who caused him to trip during Las Vegas performance - video.

Usher allegedly let go of a dancer who accidentally tripped him during a recent Las Vegas performance of his Park MGM concert residency. The incident happened during his song "Don't Waste My Time" as he performed on roller skates.

Videos from Twitter user @rnbmusictweets show the female dancer in high-heeled roller skates hitting Usher's foot with her skate, causing her to fall on her behind. Usher then loses balance and falls to his knee but quickly recovers.

Afterward, some people on Twitter joked about high-heeled roller skates being a hazard.

On stage, Usher played off the mistake by hugging the dancer and saying to the crowd, "You can't get 'em all right, y'all."

The Aftermath Goes Beyond Stage Recovery

Famous hip-hop blogger Sandra Rose claims that Usher took a different approach backstage. According to her anonymous sources, Usher's strict nature, which includes rehearsing his routines repeatedly, led to his firing the dancer. She says the dancer broke down in tears, but Usher stated that his health was more crucial than her sorrow.

Rose added that the dancer was replaced by another performer.

Usher's message to the dancer, "That's a one of one," may suggest that he only allows one mistake per performer. His residency is called "My Way," implying that he enforces strict standards.

Although most Twitter reactions applauded Usher's agility, @ErvScottie saw it differently, labeling it a warning. Another person, @MoreAndAgain, seemed to foresee the dancer's fate by commenting, presumably in Usher's voice, "I want her FIRED!"

Sandra Rose's article contains one mistake, though: the date. She mistakenly said that the incident happened on March 8.

However, Usher's show on March 8 had been canceled in advance. This fact calls into question the accuracy of other information in the article.
