Online gaming service, Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), unveiled its first-ever cross-platform advertising campaign on Monday, featuring renowned actor Neil Patrick Harris.
Referred to fondly as NPH by his devoted fanbase, Harris assumes the role of a jazz pianist-vocalist in the commercials, seemingly teleporting alongside GNOG iGaming players. From the veterinary waiting room to a deep-sea fishing boat, Harris croons tunes for Golden Nugget Online Casino players as they play the app's slot machines and table games.
"Golden Nugget online casino, always a hit, so have fun while you're waiting for that golden retriever," Harris sings in the advertisement set in the vet's office.
He's casting for some tuna, playing live dealer while he waits. No bites yet but he landed a pair of eights, he croons in the fishing spot. "It's like he's seated at the tables while he's on the high seas, Golden Nugget Online Casino, how about some face cards, please?"
A veritable national treasure, Harris has kept Americans entertained for decades, starting with the lead role in the "Doogie Howser, M.D." series on ABC, spanning 1989 to 1993. He's also well-known for his part as Barney Stinson on the long-running "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS.
