Washington Lottery hunts for winners of $9M in unclaimed prizes

The Washington Lottery has announced that it is currently looking for the winners of more than $9 million in unclaimed prizes. Among those is a single ticket worth over $8 million.

At the same time, there are at least 15 large prizes that need to be claimed, with prizes worth $10,000 or more available, for a total of $9.5 million. Three of those prizes are set to expire over the next two weeks, and they are worth more than half a million dollars, the Washington Lottery said.

This includes a $10,000 jackpot for Match 4 tickets sold in Tacoma and Airway Heights, as well as a Hit 5 ticket worth $617,500.

Another Lotto ticket worth $8.2 million was sold at an Arco gas station at 4240 Meridian Street in Bellingham and is currently the largest unclaimed prize the lottery has been looking for the winner for.

The ticket won the January 31 drawing with the numbers 3, 4, 6, 35, 41, and 48. There is still time for the player to step forward and claim the prize, though, as they will have through Thursday, July 30, to scoop the reward.

This is standard fare with the lottery offering 180 days from the draw of an event.
