Lithuanian and Finnish poker players dominate tournament chip counts

Lithuanian and Finnish poker players dominate tournament chip counts

The latest chip counts in the tournament reveal a strong showing from Lithuanian and Finnish players. Edvinas Balciunas from Lithuania currently leads with the largest stack, while several competitors from the Baltic region follow closely behind. Balciunas sits at the top with 76,800 chips, narrowly ahead of Finland’s Timo Rantamäki, who holds 75,200. Lithuania’s Robertas Jasnauskas takes third place with 68,200 chips.

Further down the rankings, Estonia’s Yeray Perez holds fourth place with 62,100 chips. Vytautas Baltrusaitis from Lithuania is fifth, just behind with 61,400. Lithuania’s Egidijus Matonis follows in sixth with 59,600 chips. England’s Ben Miller ranks seventh with 57,400 chips. Finland’s Aki Pyysing is eighth, holding 53,200, while his compatriot Ossi Soininen sits ninth with 52,100. Rounding out the top ten is Lithuania’s Tomas Montrimas, who has 51,200 chips.

Lithuanian players dominate the leaderboard, occupying five of the top ten positions. The tournament’s next stages will show whether their strong chip counts translate into deeper runs. Finland and Estonia also remain well-represented among the frontrunners.
