Vilnius poker festival crowns four champions in high-stakes opening day

The Festival Series Weekend Vilnius kicked off on 28 May 2026, bringing high-stakes poker action to the Lithuanian capital. Over the opening day, four players secured titles across different events, while the €555 Main Event PKO drew a competitive field of 64 entries. The first day saw strong performances in multiple tournaments. Andreas Hoglund took down the inaugural €150 PLO4 Madness event, pocketing €2,344. Simone Fumagalli emerged victorious in the €350 PL Sviten, earning €4,293, while Giorgio Savignone finished runner-up for €2,790.

In the €200 NL Crazy Pineapple event, Lars Ridell claimed the top spot and €901. Markus Kaerpijoki and Benjamin Bingstroem shared second and third place, each receiving €680. Marko Keskel also triumphed in the €150 Blackjack Tournament, securing a €1,000 prize. The €555 Main Event PKO progressed with 64 entries on its first day. By the end of play, only eight players remained, with Kęstutis Jungevičius leading the pack in chips.

The festival’s opening day delivered four new champions and set the stage for further competition. With the €555 Main Event PKO down to its final eight, the action continues as players vie for the top prize in Vilnius.
