UK's Thomas Sanderson claims historic PartyPoker Tour London victory

Thomas Sanderson from the UK has won the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Main Event. His victory marks the biggest live tournament result of his career. The event drew 399 players and built a prize pool of £177,555. The tournament reached its climax after an eight-hour final day. Five remaining players struck a deal, setting aside £9,000 for the eventual winner. Sanderson then faced Antonis Poulengeris in a heads-up battle to decide the champion.

Sanderson emerged victorious, securing the trophy and a top prize of £27,780. Poulengeris, the runner-up, collected £17,680 from the deal. With this result, his total recorded live tournament earnings now surpass $400,000. Known as a Spin & Go specialist, Sanderson added a major live title to his achievements. The win solidifies his reputation beyond online poker success.

The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Main Event concluded with Sanderson claiming his first major live trophy. His £27,780 prize and the title stand as his career-best result. Poulengeris, meanwhile, extended his own live earnings beyond the $400,000 mark.
