The image shows the inside of a Chinese pharmacy with people walking through it. There are glass walls on either side of the image, and a plant on the left side. Inside the pharmacy, there are shelves filled with various items, and cardboard boxes and other objects scattered around the floor. At the top of the store, there is a name board with text on it, indicating that it is a Chinese drug store.

Russia halts sales of Innovanta nutritional formula over safety violations

Russian authorities have temporarily suspended sales of the nutritional formula Innovanta Standard/Energy. The decision follows tests showing the product failed to meet several mandatory nutritional standards. Pharmacies in Krasnoyarsk Territory stopped selling it on April 10. Rospotrebnadzor, Russia’s consumer watchdog, identified multiple issues with the formula. Tests revealed incorrect levels of calcium, sodium, protein, chromium, and phosphorus. These deviations violated mandatory requirements for nutritional products.

Innovanta Standard/Energy is designed for adults and children over one year old. The batch in question was produced by SheldonPharma LLC on December 12, 2025. Despite the suspension, the product is not required to carry digital identification markings in Russia. Authorities have advised consumers to review the findings before purchasing the formula. The temporary halt applies specifically to the affected batch distributed in Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The suspension remains in place while further checks are conducted. Pharmacies have removed the product from shelves in compliance with the order. Consumers are urged to stay informed about updates from Rospotrebnadzor.
