Penn National Gaming expands myheroes program with new ambassador network

Penn National Gaming has announced a major expansion of its myheroes programme, which honours veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families. The initiative, launched in February 2022, has already attracted over 125,000 members and driven more than two million visits to the company’s properties across the US. The myheroes programme began as an extension of Penn National Gaming’s mychoice rewards scheme. Within a year of its launch, membership hit 100,000, and by early 2024, that number had grown to 125,000. Participants receive exclusive deals, promotions, and events at the company’s 44 properties in 20 states.

To mark the programme’s success, Penn National Gaming donated $100,000 to local veteran organisations. CEO Jay Snowden announced further plans to expand **myheroes** with a new multi-dimensional approach. This includes creating a network of ambassadors at the company’s venues to organise promotional events and engage with community groups. The expansion also focuses on recognising employees who serve as first responders, veterans, or active-duty military members. The goal is to strengthen support for national heroes both within the company and across its customer base.

The expanded myheroes programme will now include dedicated ambassadors at Penn National Gaming’s locations to boost community engagement. With over two million visits generated so far, the initiative continues to grow while providing tailored benefits to its members. The company’s $100,000 donation further reinforces its commitment to supporting veterans and first responders.
