High-stakes poker showdown narrows to 44 players in €173K tournament

The poker tournament has reached Level 15, with blinds now at 1,000/2,500 and a 2,500 ante. Players are being eliminated quickly as the competition intensifies. Only 44 of the original 183 entries remain, all vying for a share of the €173,850 prize pool. In a recent hand, Deividas Daubaris opened the betting to 6,000 from the Lo-jack position. Martynas Račinskas responded by going all in for 4,000 on the flop. Daubaris, holding A♣K♦, decided to call the all-in move.

Račinskas showed his cards—10♦2♦—but failed to improve his hand. The board did not favour him, and he was knocked out of the tournament. Daubaris, meanwhile, saw his chip stack grow to 221,000 after the win. The pace of eliminations has picked up, with multiple players busting in quick succession as the pressure mounts.

With Račinskas now out, the field narrows further as the tournament progresses. Daubaris strengthens his position with a significant chip lead. The remaining players will continue battling for the top spots and a share of the €173,850 prize pool.
