Haas F1 Team Unveils Special Godzilla Livery for Japanese Grand Prix

Haas F1 Unleashes Godzilla-Themed Livery for Suzuka's 50th Anniversary Race

The Haas F1 Team has revealed a special livery for its home race in Suzuka, featuring Godzilla, the "King of the Monsters." The design is part of a collaboration with Toho, the Japanese entertainment company behind the iconic franchise.

The livery was unveiled during a live event at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, attended by drivers Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman, as well as team principal Ayao Komatsu. The Godzilla-themed design seamlessly integrates with the VF-26's existing color scheme, retaining its dominant white, black, and red accents.

This partnership offers a unique opportunity for Haas F1 Team to introduce its brand to a new audience. Komatsu emphasized that the collaboration marks a first for both the team and Toho.

50 Years of the Japanese Grand Prix

This year's Japanese Grand Prix celebrates its 50th anniversary. The race made its debut in 1976 at Fuji Speedway, but since 1987, Suzuka has been its permanent home, renowned as one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar.

The track's high-speed nature demands a robust yet finely tuned aerodynamic package, along with complete driver confidence in their car. Long, sweeping corners like the Esses and Spoon place heavy stress on tires, prompting Pirelli to bring its hardest compound selections.
