Estonian poker stars dominate opening day of OlyBet Showdown Tallinn 2026

The 2026 OlyBet Showdown Tallinn kicked off with a series of high-stakes poker events at the Olympic Park Casino. Estonian players took centre stage on the opening day, securing victories in multiple Superlive tournaments powered by Win TV. The one-day €555 No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) Superlive attracted strong competition, building a prize pool of €25,650. Kert Hallik emerged as the winner, pocketing €8,720 after outlasting the field.

In the two-day €250 NLH OlyBet Win TV Superlive, Alger Pissarev claimed the top prize of €7,927. The event drew significant interest, with a total prize pool reaching €34,067. Meanwhile, Uldis Lejnieks triumphed in the €200 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO4/PLO5) tournament, taking home €2,310. The event’s prize pool amounted to €6,460. The €200 NLH OlyBet WinTV Superlive Pairs Event saw Finnish duo Jussi-Pekka Saarinen and Teemu Leikas team up for victory. Their win earned them €1,971 each. Hundreds of players filled the casino over the festival’s opening days, competing across various formats and buy-ins.

The first day of the OlyBet Showdown Tallinn highlighted Estonian success in the Superlive series. With multiple events completed and substantial prize money awarded, the festival continues to draw strong participation from across the poker community. The action now shifts to the remaining tournaments on the schedule.
