Clockspire Restaurant Wins Two Prestigious Design Awards in 2024
The Clockspire Restaurant has taken home two top prizes at this yearβs Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. The venue, housed in a restored 19th-century school, was named Overall UK Restaurant Winner. It also claimed victory in the UK Heritage Building category. The awards, known as RBDA, celebrate outstanding design in the food and drink sector worldwide. This year, judges reviewed over 100 entries from across the globe. A panel of 25 industry experts and influencers selected the winners.
The Clockspire Restaurant opened its doors in late 2019. Its home is a former school building that had fallen into disrepair before being transformed. London-based Studio Indigo led the design and renovation work.
Inside, the restaurant serves fresh, locally-sourced dishes with a creative touch. The combination of heritage architecture and modern dining has clearly impressed both critics and guests. The double win highlights the success of blending historic charm with contemporary dining. The Clockspire now stands as a recognised leader in restaurant design. Its approach to food and atmosphere continues to draw attention.
