betPawa Expands to Mali After Securing Regulatory Approval from PMU Mali
Choplife Gaming has received regulatory approval to launch betPawa in Mali. The move expands the betting platform’s reach to an 18th African market. Local operations will begin under a new licence issued by PMU Mali.
The company aims to create a compliant, locally tailored gaming experience for Malian customers. betPawa’s entry into Mali follows regulatory approval from PMU Mali, the country’s gaming authority. The platform will offer sports betting, casino games, and mobile money payment options. Customers can expect fast transactions, responsible gaming tools, and dedicated local support.
Choplife Gaming will collaborate with Malian regulators, payment providers, and telecom partners to ensure smooth operations. The company has emphasised compliance, consumer protection, and responsible gaming as key priorities. Olu Odeneye, Chief Operations Officer of Choplife Gaming, called the launch a major step in the firm’s African expansion.
Beyond Mali, Choplife Gaming is also exploring opportunities in Eswatini. The company already operates betPawa in 17 African countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Uganda. Its mobile-first platform is designed to provide accessible entertainment while supporting local economies through jobs and partnerships. The launch of betPawa in Mali introduces a new betting and gaming option for local users. The platform’s features include quick deposits, mobile payments, and customer service in the local language. Regulatory approval and partnerships with Malian stakeholders will underpin its long-term operations in the country.
