Atomic Slot Lab unveils two bold new slots with fresh mechanics

The Las Vegas iGaming studio founded by ex-Bragg Gaming Group content exec Doug Fallon has launched two new slots, including a new twist to a long-time favorite.

Atomic Slot Lab debuted Egyptian Magic Dollars & Dreams, and Ink & Ivory

On Thursday, Atomic Slot Lab debuted Egyptian Magic Dollars & Dreams, and Ink & Ivory, another example of the studio's consistent roll-out of both experimental and traditionally-structured slots.

Atomic's parent Bragg took to X on Thursday to announce the launch, highlighting a "new second-chance feature" on the Egypt-themed slot that "can turn empty spins into surprise wins:"

Structured on a traditional 3Γ—3 slot frame but integrating fresh mechanics, Ink & Ivory carries a 94% RTP and medium volatility.

Back from the dead

Second-chance mechanics have been a staple of the Vegas studio's Egyptian Magic series, and now its creators worked some more mechanics wizardry into the franchise to make the new Egyptian Magic title "feel new, irresistible, and incredibly exciting."

With an RTP of 94.02% giving medium volatility, the new feature of 3Γ—3 free games on Egyptian Magic: Dollars & Dreams gives players extra lifelines via collector mechanics, extra spins, and the opportunity for multiple jackpots on dedicated meters.

layered bonus features centering around cash value Orbs

Atomic and co-creator Wild Streak Gaming (WSG) have combined the Egyptian themes found in the studio's maiden series with layered bonus features centering around cash value Orbs in the base game.

During free spins, any collected Orb values get auto-added to the total win meter, while Respin Orb symbols can additionally trigger a dedicated respin round, where credits and jackpots await. According to reports, this Respin upgrade mechanism allows players' winnings to stack-up as the sequence plays out.

The Dollars & Dreams mechanic, meanwhile, is triggered during spins that would normally end in a zero payout, giving players extra lives to secure wins or activate bonuses.

Fresh chances

The ancient Egyptians were big believers in the afterlife, so the extra lifelines in Dollars & Dreams fit the slot brand to a T. It also dovetailed with Thursday's announcement by Doug Fallon on LinkedIn, who said after ten years at the helm of Bragg's WSG he was pivoting "back to independence" and forming a new studio, Beyond Wild Games.

Fallon said he was "incredibly proud" of what WSG achieved, including launching over 90 titles such as Dragon Power Triple Gold and "10x revenue growth" over the past five years. The exec said he was excited "to begin the next chapter with our new studio," adding further details would be forthcoming.
