888poker Global League Kicks Off with $1K Sunday Tournaments in November

The 888poker Global Poker League is set to launch its first tournament on November 9. Players will compete in a series of online events for cash prizes, tournament tickets, and exclusive experiences.

The league features freeroll qualifiers and a weekly $5.50 buy-in tournament with a guaranteed $1,000 prize pool. Four tournaments will run on Sundays—November 9, 16, 23, and 30—each with the same $5.50 buy-in and $1,000 guaranteed prize. Freeroll qualifiers take place from Thursday to Saturday, awarding 50 seats worth $5.50 each.

Players earn leaderboard points based on their finishing position and the size of the Sunday tournament’s field. Those who compete in all four events in a month gain an extra 10 points. A weekly Instagram contest also rewards five players with 50 points each.

The top 20 performers each month win prizes. First place receives a package to an 888poker LIVE event of their choice, while second place gets an entry to an 888poker LIVE tournament. Third place takes home a $250 Main Event ticket for an 888poker online series, and fourth place earns a 30-minute Zoom call with an 888poker ambassador. The league offers multiple ways to qualify and compete for rewards. With freerolls, guaranteed prize pools, and bonus points, players have several opportunities to climb the leaderboard. Prizes include tournament entries, cash, and exclusive experiences with 888poker ambassadors.
