$1 Bet Turns Into $224K Mega Jackpot for Detroit Casino Player
The person who won was from Detroit, and they were a frequent visitor to the gaming floor, the property said in a statement.

A Hard Rock Casino player in Michigan has much to be happy about, after they managed to scoop the Mega Jackpot off a slot machine with just $1.
The resulting payout amounted to $224,718.15, one of the largest amounts won at the Double Top Dollar machine with the nominal bet.
The jackpot dropped on April 15 on the popular IGT slot game, with the player hailing from Detroit, Michigan.
Even though the jackpot contribution on the player's bet was just $0.10 of the total, that was enough to trigger the Mega tier of the jackpot prize, minting yet another big winner.
The six-figure prize will go a long way toward the winner's personal life, although the casino did not release much information about their plans moving forward, other than to mention that the player was a regular at the casino.
Hard Rock Digital VP of Casino Rich Criado celebrated the event, highlighting its importance:
