Woman Ascends Casino Table in Reno, Casually Tosses Gambling Chips

Latest web videos gaining traction depict an unusual event at the Silver Legacy Casino in Reno on a Saturday, where an elderly woman climbed onto a craps table amidst live gaming and flung chips around, even at participants.

Rebecca Castillo, aged 63, was detained by the Reno Police Department on charges of battery, based on four counts.

As numerous spectators watched in awe or recorded the spectacle themselves, Castillo engaged in a scuffle with security personnel trying to remove her from the table. She was then granted the liberty to stretch out on the table for about 16 seconds, with her hands on her head.

One video of the event, shared on X/Twitter by user @briancommeans on Wednesday, garnered 215,500 views by Thursday. Another video, posted on TikTok by the account @cbomobfather on Wednesday, has amassed 345,800 views.

Many comments underneath the videos express how such actions would've been swiftly dealt with in the era when mafia gangs oversaw casino floors rather than corporations.

"Robert De Niro is waiting for him in the back room," remarked Twitter user @DJCaso, who not only misspelled the "Casino" actor's name but also incorrectly gendered the offender.

The authorities remained silent regarding the possible motives for Castillo's outburst. The court has scheduled a hearing for her appearance on Thursday for a sentencing hearing.
