The CONCACAF Finals of soccer will be held at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.
The Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) will bring back a different type of football to Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium this summer. This news was made public on Monday.
The second CONCACAF Nations League (CNL) Finals is set to have four teams battling it out in two semifinals on Thursday, June 15, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. PT. The third place and finals matches will take place on Sunday, June 18, at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. PT.
This stadium, which is home to the Las Vegas Raiders and the 2024 Super Bowl, also hosted the 16th Gold Cup Final in 2021. During this event, the US team won its seventh Gold Cup title by beating Mexico 1-0.
Victor Montagliani, the CONCACAF president, and FIFA Vice President, said in a statement, "We all enjoyed an excellent Gold Cup Final at the same venue in 2021, and I'm confident the combination of these high-quality teams and the world-class facilities will attract fans from across our region." CONCACAF is one of FIFA's six continental confederations.

The four pool winners of this year's CNL will get ranked based on their performance in the group stage. The highest-ranked team will face the lowest-ranked team, and the second-ranked team will take on the third-ranked team in the finals. The remaining 34 matches of the group stage, taking place between March 23 and 28, will decide these four winners.
The top two teams in Group A, which include El Salvador, Honduras, Jamaica, and Panama, lead the current standings. Teams from the US, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico, with 1-1-0 records, are still in the running. The US team, standing second in Group D, is placed between Grenada and group leader El Salvador.
Allegiant Stadium's general manager Chris Wright is excited to welcome CONCACAF back to the area's largest stadium.
"The enthusiasm these teams and their fans bring to our facilities and the whole city is unmatched, and we are excited to keep hosting global sporting events like these in Las Vegas, together with our partners at the LVCVA," Wright said in a statement.
Tickets for the 2023 CNL event will go on sale on Monday, March 27, at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster.com or Concacaf.com.
