Sin City Adds Second Wahlburgers Restaurant and Inaugurates First Famous Italian Sandwich Establishment

The Shoppes at Mandalay Place are set to welcome the second location of Wahlburgers on the Las Vegas Strip. This popular hamburger chain is owned by actor Mark Wahlberg, alongside his lesser-known brothers, Donnie and Paul. While Mark is a well-known movie star, it's Paul who plays a crucial role in the burger business, serving as the family's head chef. This franchise now boasts over 90 locations in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Wahlburgers' upcoming location will occupy a space of around 5,000 square feet, capable of seating up to 150 guests. It will be well-equipped with a large bar area for enjoying a beer or an adult milkshake while watching sports on one of the many HDTVs placed throughout the restaurant.

The first Wahlburgers in Las Vegas was opened in 2016 at the Grand Bazaar Shops near Bally's Las Vegas (now Horseshoe).

If you're craving Italian schiacciata and are willing to travel a few miles off the Strip, one of the world's best sandwich shops, All'Antico Vinaio, is set to open at The Sundry food hall in the UnCommons development in southwest Las Vegas this June. With a focus on freshly baked Italian schiacciata, this sandwich shop started in Florence, Italy, as a wine bar with a sandwich counter in 1989. They have soon become world-renowned for their offerings, and they have even been featured on the online culinary site saveur.com.

All'Antico Vinaio has already expanded stateside with locations in New York. The menu offers approximately 20 different sandwiches, including the La Schiacciata Del Boss, which contains imported Italian prosciutto toscano, pecorino toscano, and truffle cream, all for $20.

The Sundry food hall, launched by Las Vegas restaurateur Patric Yumul and Michelin-starred Chef Michael Mina, will house two full-service restaurants, a shared kitchen with a chef's table, a central bar, a communal dining area, and outdoor spaces.

And for those looking for a diverse dining experience, Zai, a renowned eatery famous for its international dishes, has announced its first US outpost in downtown Las Vegas. Located at 700 E. Fremont St., this establishment will open on March 31st and will include a rooftop nightclub.

If your schedule permits, make sure to attend an event on April 2nd where you can tour some of the best desserts in Las Vegas. On this tour, you'll get to visit Gordon Ramsay Steak in Paris, Spago by Wolfgang Puck at Bellagio, Chica at The Venetian, and Mastro's Ocean Club in The Shops at Crystals. Tickets are $175 and limited to just 35 guests - you can secure yours by visiting fingerlickingfoodietours.com.
