Rush Street Interactive Introduces Prop Central for Football Season
Ready to cater to the rising enthusiasm for proposition wagers, Rush Street Interactive announced the debut of "Prop Central" just in time for the 2023 sports season kick-off.
Based in Chicago, Rush Street Interactive oversees both online and physical sportsbooks under the BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse brands. Prop Central, their newest addition, caters to sports bettors by offering a wider, more convenient platform for placing pre-game and live-action proposition wagers across various sports.
The new arrangement significantly changes how player prop bets are showcased within the sportsbook interface. Previously, appealing props games were scattered throughout the app and generally found at the specific sporting event. Now, patrons have a centralized hub for all player props in their respective major sports, arranged neatly in an uncomplicated design.
Rush Street Interactive is accessible through mobile or retail platforms in places like Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
RSI's Focus on Prop Bets
Prop bets are thriving in multiple sports and football is an example, suggesting that Rush Street's introduction of Prop Central might come just in the nick of time.
Bettors and sportsbooks are equally fond of these wagers, as they provide a broadened wagering selection, including choices that extend beyond conventional pre-game bets, such as sides and totals. Props wagers also let sports fans dive deeper into either team or individual outcomes.
Bookmakers appreciate these wagers for multiple reasons. The surge of additional betting options, many with higher odds, appeals to bettors, making it a golden opportunity to generate more revenue. Moreover, props bets are a natural fit for live or in-game betting, an emerging market.
Embodying around half of all sports bets today, live or in-game wagers are major in other countries, particularly Europe, where games typically have a slower pace. In the United States, sports like basketball, hockey, and, to some extent, football don't promote in-game betting as much. Yet, baseball and golf, among others, prove ideal for this format.
Rush Street Interactive's Enhanced Squares Game
Not only did Rush Street Interactive unveil Prop Central, but they also revamped their well-liked Squares football game, applicable to both college and National Football League competitions.
"Aside from the existing rewards, including a $10,000 Bonus Money grand prize, customers can snag Profit Boosts for 'near misses,' Rush Street announced. "If a user accurately guesses one out of two numbers, RSI will pay the close call with a 25% Profit Boost, enhancing the odds of winning free of charge."
RSI also mentioned that their sportsbooks would offer first touchdown insurance, odds boost, and parlay insurance this year.
