Friends and social media are the focus of this article. - Musiala shares personal experiences.

As part of the German national team, the standout player from FC Bayern is readying for this year's Euros, scheduled from June 14th to July 14th. In anticipation, he's recently shared personal insights into his life.

During an interview with "Sports Illustrated", the DFB standout spoke: "Throughout my life, I've preferred having a tight-knit group of friends. Mostly they're the folks I've known since I was a kid - I keep in touch with them." Rather intriguingly, he names just a few teammates from his current team.

Musiala elaborates: "Phonzy (Alphonso Davies) and Leroy (Leroy Sané, both teammates at FC Bayern Munich) have become friends over time. Apart from them, not many new faces have joined our circle. This is mostly because there's just not enough time for that."

Musiala entered the Munich youth academy in 2019, and debuted for the seniors against Freiburg in January 2021. Davies (who arrived at Munich in January 2019) was in the starting lineup back then, while Sané (having joined from Manchester City) was brought on as a substitute, like Musiala. Musiala has played 119 games with Davies and 153 with Sané.

Musiala, born in England while representing Germany, is fluent in English courtesy of his time spent with Chelsea's youth squad. This is also true for his fiancée Candice Brook, a US reality TV star, as well as Davies and Sané, who both spent time at Manchester City.

Musiala has thus far featured in 163 matches for the Munich club. Speaking about his game, he says: "I'm genuinely happiest when I'm on the pitch. It gives me a sense of freedom. I cherish every opportunity to improve. It helps to keep pushing further."

However, social media's been a source of discontent for him lately. In the past year, he's scaled back his use of such platforms. He explains: "It's one comment that can spoil your mood." Musiala has a total of around five million followers on Instagram, x (previously known as Twitter).
