Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen is celebrating its 25th anniversary with Sylvie Meis and Joachim Llambi

The Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen is celebrating an important anniversary in September: Exactly 25 years ago, the casino moved to its current location. To mark this occasion, the casino will host a red-carpet event with numerous prominent guests.

Stars from film and television have confirmed their attendance

On September 26, the Casino Bad Oeynhausen will celebrate its 25th anniversary at the Werre Park in Bad Oeynhausen. A large celebration lasting several days is planned, with prominent guests from film and television invited to attend.

Among those expected are Sylvie Meis, 46, and Joachim Llambi, 60. Both are known for TV shows like Let’s Dance and Das Supertalent and have already confirmed their attendance for the casino’s anniversary in Bad Oeynhausen.

Christine Neubauer, 62, will also be visiting the event. She is one of Germany’s most successful actresses and has appeared in countless films and series.

David Schnabel, CEO of Merkur Spielbanken, has already announced a very special anniversary week:

We are preparing a very special weekend for our guests and the city, starting with an extraordinary program on September 26. Our house stands for a unique gaming experience and extraordinary entertainment. We look forward to an unprecedented influx of celebrities and the most successful live events of German casinos in one weekend.– David Schnabel, CEO of Merkur Spielbanken, Westfalen-Blatt**

In addition to Sylvie Meis, Joachim Llambi, and Christine Neubauer, personalities from business, politics, and the national media landscape are also expected to attend the casino anniversary. Further guests have not yet been announced.

A casino with a rich history

The Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen has a rich history behind it. It opened in 1980 with a grand celebration. At the time, the casino was located in the Kurhaus, a traditional building in the Kurpark of Bad Oeynhausen.

In 1999, the casino moved to the Werre Park, one of the largest shopping centers in the Ostwestfalen region. Today, the casino offers daily games such as roulette, blackjack, poker, and many more, as well as modern slot machines.

Since 2021, the casino has belonged to the Merkur Group (formerly Gauselmann Group). As one of the largest casino providers in Germany, the group opened another casino in Monheim, North Rhine-Westphalia, last year. The Merkur Group now has five locations in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Special anniversary offers for players

Guests can look forward to a lot at this special anniversary. On September 26, the popular Big Casino Gameshow will take place, where everyone can participate without having to bet any money. The main prize is 10,000 euros and will be paid out guaranteed.

On the following day, the Merkur Casino Bad Oeynhausen will also offer further anniversary offers. The largest Bingo event series in Germany is planned for Saturday, followed by a party with a large cake and some special draws.

Guests can thus look forward to an extraordinary anniversary week full of celebrations and special offers at the Casino Bad Oeynhausen.
