In an unfortunate incident, a traffic accident occurred on Uelleber Street in Gotha involving a delivery vehicle and a Ford. The accident, which took place recently, led to temporary traffic disruptions in the area.

According to reports, the older driver, who is 89 years old, was responsible for the collision. The incident occurred when the 42-year-old delivery vehicle driver had to stop his vehicle, and the elderly Ford driver failed to brake in time, resulting in a collision.

Sadly, the impact caused a fire to break out in the Ford, which required the immediate attention of the fire department. The Ford, now not roadworthy, had to be towed away. The total estimated material damage to the vehicles and the road is 17,000 euros.

Both drivers were lightly injured in the accident and were taken to a hospital by ambulance for immediate medical attention.
