Henkel and Fujifilm are set to make a significant impact at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place in Barcelona from September 16 to September 19. Both companies are demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and innovation, showcasing a range of recyclable and CO2-reducing solutions.

Henkel Adhesive Technologies is at the forefront of this movement, presenting new adhesive solutions that aim to enable circularity in labels. Their offerings include repulpable adhesives for paper labels, which completely dissolve in the recycling process, and wash-off PSAs for PET bottles, such as the award-winning Aquence PS 3017 RE, which won the FINAT Sustainability Award 2024.

Moreover, Henkel is demonstrating solutions for CO2 reduction, specifically PSA adhesive solutions ideal for linerless label applications. These solutions are said to be highly energy-efficient and resistant to heat, chemicals, and environmental influences.

Henkel's experts from the Henkel Packaging recyclab will be present at Labelexpo Europe 2025, ready to discuss these innovative, resource-conserving hotmelt adhesives that significantly reduce carbon footprint while maintaining performance.

Fujifilm is also making a strong statement with its sustainable offerings. The company will showcase its analogue and digital print solutions, including the Jet Press FP790 for flexible packaging applications and the Revoria Press SC285S, a new '5UPER COLOUR' 5-colour press. Fujifilm will also demonstrate its LuXtreme LED UV system and CuremaX inks and varnishes.

The flagship B2 digital inkjet press, the Jet Press 750S, will also be featured. Additionally, Fujifilm's Flenex FW water-wash plates will be used for live flexo plate production at the event.

Herma is also participating in this sustainable revolution, showcasing new PP flex label films at Labelexpo. These films have a thickness of just 45 Ξm, around 40% less than standard PE films, making them comparable to standard PE films in terms of rigidity and dispensability. Herma's PP flex films, including the white (grade 840) and clear (grade 847), can be flexo-printed after corona pretreatment.

Packaging Europe will be covering key moments of Labelexpo 2025 in Barcelona, ensuring that all the latest developments and innovations are reported on. Henkel, Fujifilm, and Herma are all demonstrating at Hall 4, Stand 4C45, and visitors are encouraged to drop by to learn more about these exciting, sustainable solutions.

By attending Labelexpo Europe 2025, companies can gain valuable insights into how they can comply with the EU packaging regulation PPWR and shape future-proof packaging design with these adhesive solutions. This event promises to be a hub of innovation and sustainability, and a must-attend for anyone interested in the future of the label and packaging industry.
