PartyPoker Tour Seville 2026 kicks off with high-stakes drama in Day 1A

The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville Main Event kicked off with Day 1A drawing 171 players from a 209-strong field. The tournament features a guaranteed prize pool of €50,000. One of the early standout hands unfolded during Level 5, with blinds at 300/600 (600). Ismael García started the action by raising to 1,100 from under the gun. Aitor Pérez, in the Big Blind, chose to defend. The flop came 9♠ 6♠ 8♠, and Pérez check-called a 1,600 bet from García.

The turn brought the 10♥, and Pérez again check-called, this time facing a 3,600 wager. On the river (3♠), Pérez checked once more, then called a smaller 1,000 bet from García. At showdown, García revealed J♠ J♦, prompting Pérez to muck his hand. After the hand, García’s stack grew to 56,500, while Pérez finished with 83,000 in chips.

The clash between García and Pérez highlighted the early dynamics of Day 1A. With 171 entries already recorded, the tournament is well on its way to reaching the €50,000 prize pool guarantee. Play continues as the remaining players vie for a spot in the money.
