On Monday, August 25, 2025, at 19:07, a traffic accident occurred in Hamburg-Lohbrügge on Bergedorfer Straße. The incident involved three vehicles, resulting in one person being seriously injured and five people being lightly injured.

According to the Police Department, the accident occurred when a 47-year-old driver of a BMW (1st series) was traveling on the Bergedorfer Straße on the left lane in the direction of Billstedt. During an illegal overtaking maneuver, two BMW vehicles came into contact with each other, causing the 47-year-old's car to overturn.

The 19-year-old driver of the BMW (3rd series) was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a hospital. The suspect's driver's license was seized at the scene. The identity of the driver of the unknown Porsche, which illegally overtook at the accident site and left without authorization, has not been disclosed in the available information.
