Magadan Region boosts aid for large families with new 2025 incentives

Magadan Region Governor Sergei Nosov has decided to expand the regional demographic development program, according to the Magadan government's press service.

Starting in 2025, under the regional birth rate incentive program, young families with a third or subsequent child will remain eligible for a one-time payment of 300,000 rubles. This support measure will continue to apply.

Additionally, to ensure all families benefit, a new measure funded by the regional budget will introduce a one-time payment of 300,000 rubles for families with a third or subsequent child where one or both parents are over 35.

Thus, all families in the region will now be entitled to the 300,000-ruble payment upon the birth of a third or subsequent child—regardless of the parents' age—meaning this additional support will apply to every child born in a large family. The payment for parents over 35 is an extra measure of regional support, financed by the Magadan budget.

This decision aligns with the United Russia party's People's Program, which prioritizes support for large families as a key demographic goal. At the federal level, United Russia has standardized the legal status of large families and advocates for expanded benefits. Regionally, as the party's branch secretary, Sergei Nosov consistently implements this policy through concrete measures for the people of Kolyma.

The support initiatives also reflect the objectives of the Family national project.
