Latvijas Loto reports €100M revenue and plans bold expansion in 2025
Latvijas Loto has announced strong financial results for 2024, with revenue reaching €100.3 million. The state-owned lottery operator also reported pre-tax profits of €16 million, contributing €21.8 million to Latvia’s national budget. Now, the company is preparing to expand its offerings with new games and modernised products. In 2024, Latvijas Loto retained 30% of its profits, while the remaining 70% went to the state—its sole shareholder, the Ministry of Finance. The company’s financial success has allowed it to plan for growth, targeting annual revenue of €130 million in the coming years.
New games such as Senatnes loterija, Sporto, and EuroDreams will soon join its lineup. Alongside these, existing products will be updated to focus on licensed draws. The lottery remains a popular way for players to win big while supporting state funds.
Board members also received earnings from the company in 2024. Jānis Pone, a board member, earned €126,451.90, the highest among them. Chairman Imants Paeglītis took home €39,540, while deputy chairman Viktor Troitsyn and board member Mārcis Gaspazīņš each received €35,580.
Looking ahead, Latvijas Loto will transfer at least €9.36 million to the state in 2026, slightly less than the €10.03 million paid in 2025. The company’s expansion plans aim to boost revenue while maintaining its role in funding public projects. With new games on the horizon and steady contributions to the budget, Latvijas Loto continues to link entertainment with state support. The 2024 results and future transfers reflect its ongoing financial impact.
