Cane's wealth unexpectedly stems from a concealed marriage, hints suggest on The Young and the Restless.

In the latest episode of The Young and the Restless, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) find themselves under house arrest in Cane's storage room. The duo, on a mission to uncover the truth, speculate that the maze on Cane's property might have been built over the vineyard, hinting at a potential mystery surrounding the estate.

The theory surrounding Cane (Billy Flynn) thickens as they question the authenticity of his billionaire status. Cane claims he earned his fortune in six years through bitcoin investments with the late Colin (Tristan Rogers). However, Cane and Colin's history of lying and running schemes casts doubt on this explanation.

As they sift through a trunk filled with old family photos, Nick and Sharon discover a photograph from the early 1900s, which appears to be of Cane's chateau. They speculate that the photo might be of the family that used to own the property, adding another layer to the intrigue.

Another photo, dated 1924, bears the inscription "De Leon Family." This discovery leads them to believe that the property was once the famous Chante de Leon winery. The winery stopped producing wine years ago, but there are no vines or grapes on the property, puzzling Nick and Sharon.

Cane's mystery wife, it is revealed, was a descendant of the De Leon family. This revelation, coupled with Cane's insistence that someone wants him dead, including the belief that Damian was murdered by mistake and that he was the real target, fuels their suspicions.

However, despite their efforts, there are no publicly available details about living members of the De Leon family who might be dissatisfied with Cane inheriting the family estate. This leaves the door open for potential disgruntled De Leon family members, who could be the ones attempting to harm Cane.

New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS, and the episodes become available to stream on Paramount Plus the next day. As the mystery deepens, viewers are left on the edge of their seats, eager to uncover the truth alongside Nick and Sharon.
