Caesars Palace Hosts Food Network Star Guy Fieri; Capriotti's and Luke's Lobster Join Vegas Dining Options

Caesars Entertainment has held a special connection with celebrity chef Guy Fieri for quite some time. This summer, however, will mark the first time Fieri's unique culinary creations will be present at the company's main resort. Caesars Palace is set to introduce a Chicken Guy! restaurant in its food court.

In a statement, Terrence O'Donnell, Vice President and Assistant General Manager of Caesars Palace, expressed his excitement: "We are thrilled to have Guy Fieri's extraordinary culinary talent at Caesars Palace."

Chicken Guy! boasts a menu full of chicken tenders marinated in lemon juice, pickle brine, and buttermilk, infused with fresh herbs. Guests can choose between grilled or fried chicken options, available in sandwiches, on skewers, or in meal-sized bowls. The restaurant also offers 22 signature sauces created by Fieri to accompany the chicken and mouthwatering sides.

Fieri has previously operated Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen and Bar at the LINQ and Guy Fieri's El Burro Borracho at the Rio. At the start of the year, it became known that Guy Fieri's Flavortown Sports Kitchen, currently offering delivery services, will be making its brick-and-mortar debut at the rebranded Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally's).

Another long-time favorite among locals, Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, has expanded to the Strip with assistance from the Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group. The newly opened Capriotti's location can be found in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, accompanied by a Wing Zone outlet. Following their acquisition of Wing Zone in 2021, the two form a $150 million joint company. Fifth Avenue hopes to bring this winning combo of fast food establishments to more locations in Sin City soon.

On April 13, Luke's Lobster plans to open its second venue on the Strip. Located in The Park, an outdoor dining area linking New York-New York, Park MGM, and T-Mobile Arena, this location will be different from their first. Instead of its standard size, this lobster roll hotspot will be housed in a 160 square-foot shipping container. Luke's is active in 11 US states, and its first Las Vegas appearance was outside the Fashion Show Mall.

On June 10th, Carver Road Hospitality will unveil the Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar concept at Mandalay Bay. The restaurant features burgers, sliders, shareable tacos, and salads developed by Chef Daniel Ontiveros, previously the executive chef at Scotch 80 Prime at the Palms. The 8,500 square foot eatery is positioned near the entrance to The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, beside the pathway to Allegiant Stadium.

Firefly Tapas Kitchen & Bar, acclaimed for its selection of Spanish small plates, has relocated from its previous spot on Paradise Road to 335 Hughes Center Drive, which was once home to a McCormick & Schmick's and a Claim Jumper restaurant. The eatery officially welcomed its guests, and a public grand opening event will take place on March 24, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Firefly currently has another location at 7355 S. Buffalo Drive.

Two Winners for the Great Las Vegas Coffee Shop Contest

When it came to crowning the ultimate victor for the Dapper Companies' Great Las Vegas Coffee Shop Giveaway last year, the judges were torn between the merits of two submissions. Thus, both grand prize winners were granted $950K each to launch their respective cafes.
