Blueface, a rapper, has been arrested for an alleged robbery at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

A rapper from Los Angeles was taken into custody on Wednesday, accused of snatching a phone from a woman at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas during the previous week.

Johnathan Jamall Porter, who goes by the stage name Blueface, is 26 years old. He was taken into custody at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas, where he showed up for an unrelated matter.

According to authorities, a video was recorded of his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, 22, using a phone, which prompted Porter to allegedly grab the device. His lawyer, Kristina Wildeveld, a criminal defense attorney from Las Vegas, told the Las Vegas Review Journal that they are hopeful a solution can be reached to satisfy everyone concerning this new charge as well as the others facing Porter.

Attempted Murder at a Strip Club

In November 2021, Porter was taken into custody for attempting to murder someone and firing a gun into an occupied vehicle. On October 8, he allegedly aimed a gun at Kentabius Traylor, with the bullet hitting Traylor's left hand but not causing serious injury.

Reports suggest that prior to the incident, Traylor had made a joke about Porter outside Euphoric Gentlemen's Club. While Porter was inside, Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club, local police say that he and his crew assaulted Trakyor. When Traylor later went outside to wait for Porter and his crew, they allegedly shot and injured the truck driver.

As of earlier this week, Porter was being held at the Clark County Detention Center. By Thursday, it seems he was released from custody, according to online jail records, with a bail set at $20,000.

The rapper is set to appear in court on Thursday to face the robbery charges. The following Wednesday, Porter will appear in court for the attempted murder charge.

Previous Offenses

In 2022 and 2019, Porter faced charges for gun possession in separate incidents, TMZ has reported. The first charge has since been dropped.

In 2018, he was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, as per the New York Times, and in 2021, he was arrested for assaulting a bouncer who refused to let him into a club in California's San Fernando Valley.

Porter's hit song "Thotiana" received a lot of attention, reaching 26th place on Billboard magazine's list of the best songs of 2019. However, he now faces legal proceedings due to the shooting incident in October, with several civil lawsuits filed against him, including one by Euphoric Gentlemen's Club.
