Arrest Roundup: Suspected Chemical Attacker at New York State Gambling Facility

The Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in New York State was the target of a feared chemical attack last Friday.

A mysterious male caller kept making threats to security guards, claiming he would "kill everyone" at the Niagara Falls gambling spot. He claimed to be staying at the casino's hotel, and his accent sounded British.

During one of these calls, the suspect put a sobbing woman on the phone. He then threatened to kill her, said the police. He also fired a gun six times, revealing the police later on. In addition to that, he demanded that the casino pay him $30K in cash, according to a report by Buffalo TV station WIVB.

An anonymous call came in at about the same time, warning about men with AR-15-type rifles arriving at the same casino. The Niagara Falls Police Department sent units to the scene.

No harmful substances were found when the cops inspected a hotel floor, a single room, and the air purification system of the property, WIVB revealed.

No weapons-wielding individuals were present at the gaming site. No arrests have been confirmed as of the weekend.

A woman seemed to have forgotten her three-year-old child in the car at Virginia's Hard Rock Bristol Casino on Thursday. Jasmin Solinksy, 24, from Erwin, TN, was detained for child neglect and abuse.

The preschooler was stranded in the vehicle for about 60 minutes while Solinksy was inside the establishment. She was jailed at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon, with no bail set, as per WJHL.

The child was placed into the custody of a family member; there were no injuries reported.

The robbery of a Sioux Falls, SD, small casino on August 15 was recently attributed to Nathan Eiesland, 41, of Harrisburg, SD. He was taken into custody and is facing charges of grand theft and first-degree burglary.

At first, Eiesland tried to enter with a cover on his face but was denied. After removing the mask, the staff let him in. But as soon as he entered the establishment, he brandished a gun and stole from the casino. The amount stolen was not mentioned.

Eiesland was also arrested for stealing several cars in Sioux Falls on August 21, and he was placed under arrest and incarcerated. The vehicle thefts were unrelated to the casino heist, and the house where the vehicles were taken appeared to be set on fire. However, no charges were filed for that incident, said the police.
