A Teletubby-themed rave is headed to AREA15 in Las Vegas.
Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po are ready to party with you all night long.
Don't miss out on the "House of Teletubbies: Tubbyland Rave" happening at the Portal in AREA 15, a popular hangout spot for the youth.
The promotional material describes the event as "an enchanting adventure filled with mesmerizing music and dazzling visuals" and "a vibrant playground featuring immersive light shows, energizing tunes, and interactive components that will have you moving and grooving all evening."
You can choose whichever description you like best.
For those who may not remember, "The Teletubbies" was a popular children's show that aired on BBC from 1997 to 2001. It featured a group of soft, colorful, and round characters with antennae growing from their heads and small screens attached to their bellies. Each one also lacked the ability to speak in a known language fluently.
Now that the viewership is aged between 23-27, a rave event is completely fitting.
Noah Kessler, who is in charge of entertainment at AREA15, commented, "AREA15 is leading the way in reinventing the rave experience by integrating themed events that mix nostalgia, imagination, and immersive amusement. Our themed raves provide a unique and participatory method for guests to connect with beloved characters and stories while participating in a thriving entertainment setting."
It's unclear whether Noah will be one of the attendees dancing until the wee hours at the Tubbyland Rave.
All you need to attend is to be 18 years old or over, but, for drinking, you'll require a legal ID. Since no one younger than 23 is likely to understand, this isn't much of an issue.
The Tubbyland party will take place from 9:00 pm on June 21 to 1:00 am on June 22 at The Portal. You can get your general admission tickets, starting at $17.95, here.
Unfortunately, ketamine is not included in the ticket price.
