Furth takes the lead once more in club ranks. - Zorniger seeks stardom.
The Cloverleaf earned a solid 34 points at Ronhof, pushing them up to third place in the home table. Their 8th place finish in the overall table was enough to secure their spot, despite a dip in performance during the second half of the season with only one win in seven games.
Yet again, Fürth outperformed their local rivals from Nuremberg in the final standings. This has become a common occurrence for coach Alexander Zorniger, who led his team to their fifth consecutive Franconian championship. Impressively, this is the first time in six years that Fürth has outranked Nuremberg. Zorniger shared, "We should talk to the kit supplier about possibly adding a star for winning the Franconian championship five times in a row. We're quite proud of this accomplishment."
