A totally strange trip to the latest club. - Young Werder Bremen player (16 years old) arrives in a helicopter and wears a luxury coat.
Karim Coulibaly, a 16-year-old defender, has joined Werder Bremen for free from HSV. This marks an impressive entrance into the club.
The German U17 international is seen wearing an "Offwhite" jacket worth 2450 euros as he meets with Werder's managing director Frank Baumann and professional boss Clemens Fritz.
Young defender signs for Werder Bremen: A luxurious welcome
Ole Werner, Werder's coach, is excited about the talented central defender (who was also being considered by Inter). He says about Coulibaly, "An amazing young talent. We believe he has a bright future ahead of him. We plan to nurture him gradually."
Coulibaly has made quite an impact at HSV in the U19 Bundesliga. It remains uncertain whether he will join the professional team at Werder in the upcoming season.
Werner assures, "He's definitely on our radar. He may get a chance to train with us, although he's quite young. We trust him to make a difference for us and believe that with our guidance, he can reach the top."
For now, he will play for the U19 squad. There's also a possibility that the newly signed player could compete for the U23 team (which is set to be promoted to the Regionalliga).
