The youth wing of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party - Young individual linked to Thuringia right-wing extremism.
On Thursday, the Interior Ministry in Erfurt revealed that JA Thüringen, the youth wing of the Thuringian AfD, had been designated as a right-wing extremist group by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. The latter is a government agency responsible for monitoring extremism in Germany. Thuringia's AfD state chapter has held this classification since 2021.
