Wynn Las Vegas beats Fontainebleau with Justin Timberlake
The Wynn Las Vegas is drawing the world's attention to the north side of the Las Vegas Strip this week as it slams its younger, hipper rivals. This snap features Justin Timberlake, who headlined the grand opening of the Fontainebleau Hotel.
After the party, Timberlake took to social media to share a photo taken behind him as he and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, walked back to their hotel room.
Only casino carpet researchers - and they actually exist - recognized from the carpet patterns that they were walking through the Wynn Hotel, not the Fontainebleau. Wynn posted a response on Instagram on Thursday.
According to TMZ, rooms at the Fontainebleau were closed to the public on Wednesday and entry to the Fontainebleau was not allowed until 12:01 a.m. Thursday. By this time, all the celebrities had been ushered into the private high-limit room to watch Timberlake perform the casino's first ceremonial craps shoot.
On Wednesday, however, the room was opened to Timberlake, Biel and all other invited VIPs, presumably for free.
Wynn only
Wynn executives know exactly where the power couple likes to stay because they are the ones who book them. However, luxury resorts are keeping mum on the matter as strict protection of guests' identities is a top rule.
That is until news of Timberlake's faux pas spread.
Wynn captioned the same photo of the power couple: "Ending for everyone. #OnlyatWynn."
As Vital Vegas noted, Wynn has had a contentious relationship with its new neighbor and threatened to sue the Fontainebleau this summer for poaching its top employees.

Most famous artists don't live at the Las Vegas resorts where they perform. This is mainly to stop stalkers and fans from looking for them out there.
For example, when Adele first came to perform at Caesars Palace in November 2022, the superstar was booked into a suite at the Rio Palace, owned by Caesars Palace parent company Caesars Entertainment.
But an unconscious snub can be just as painful as an intentional one. Often, appearance is more important than intention.
Timberlake paid $6 million to sing for an hour for Cher, Kim Kardashian and other VIPs who flocked to the private opening of the Las Vegas Strip's newest casino on Wednesday night, Dec. 13. But couldn’t the money buy his loyalty overnight?
Wynn later deleted his post, no doubt seeing it as a betrayal of Timberlake, which it was. However, it was active long enough to be filmed by Vital Vegas and TMZ.
By the way, Adele didn't like her stay at the Rio Hotel and later moved to - guess where - the Wynn Hotel.
