According to sources, Leeds United is gambling that Wöber will perform well in the European Championship, which would potentially increase his transfer fee.
With no pressure, Leeds will not accept any offer lower than €15 million. If the number doesn't exceed that threshold, Wöber will continue playing for them for another season.
Gladbach is willing to pay up to €9 million for the blue ribbon performer, who has participated in five goals in 25 Bundesliga games for VfL(two goals, three assists). Borussia also anticipates receiving €9 million for their other premier player, Nico Elvedi, 27 years old. He had considered moving to Wolverhampton Island last year until their managerial change heated up their interest in him.
