He wasn't taken in for adoption. - Will Wagner remain in Fürth?
Young midfielder Robert Wagner (20 years old) avoided getting sent off, unlike some other players like Jonas Urbig and Tim Lemperle who are headed back to Cologne, Lukas Petkov to Augsburg, Oussama Haddadi with an unknown destination, Leon Schffran to FC Vaduz, and Ben Schlicke to SpVgg Unterhaching. Freiburg's Wagner was on loan, and his deal expired at the end of the season too.
However, there are indications that Wagner will stay on at Ronhof. Despite a permanent signing being doubtful for Fürth, extending Wagner's loan seems plausible. Wagner still has a long-term contract with his former team Freiburg. He could easily continue playing in Fürth, given the fierce competition for central midfield spots at SC. On the other hand, he would have the chance to further hone his skills at Kleeblatt.
