The recently aired "Tatort" marks the break before the summer hiatus. - Who is responsible for the Female Murderer's Escape?
The story wraps up with a blast!
Many may be surprised by this conclusion. After all, in the 54-year history of "Tatort", there aren't many crime dramas in which the criminals go unpunished at the finale. Normally, this happens in sequels, as with the female murderer Kai Korthals (Lars Eidinger, 48), who created chaos in three episodes set in Kiel.
The psychopath Markus Graf (Florian Bartholomäi, 37) is featured in three episodes of Dortmund's "Tatort" alongside Chief Inspector Peter Faber (Jörg Hartmann, 54). Now, for the first time, a woman manages to escape, and a follow-up isn't out of the question.
In the episode "Letzte Ausfahrt Schauinsland", we see the discovery of psychologist Lisa Schieblon's body (Reiki von Carlowitz, 37) in the trunk of a car in a parking lot. The murdered woman gave expert testimony for a psychiatric clinic.
There are several possible suspects. However, detectives Franziska Tobler (Eva Löbau, 52) and Friedemann Berg (Hans-Jochen Wagner, 55) realize too late that Dr. Tausendleben, the head physician of the psychiatric ward, is unscrupulously in control of her patients.
In the end, it's revealed that Dr. Tausendleben doesn't have a state license to practice her profession. Her name seems suspicious too, as her "mother" - a supposed doctor - has never heard of her.
The murderous impostor is portrayed by theater director and actress Ulrike Arnold. TV fans might recognize her from the ZDF series "Toni & Julia", where she played Katharina Vogt, the local council chairwoman.
Arnold has also made appearances in various "Tatort" movies and "Polizeiruf" episodes. She's been seen in four cases from Munich's "Tatort" specifically. But she's never played a murderer before.
