German Handball League - Where can I watch Hamburg vs. Flensburg on live television and streaming?
Will Flensburg Secure Their Position in 3rd Place?
Currently, Hamburg is positioned ninth. The possibility of them continuing their stay in the Bundesliga for the upcoming season is uncertain. It seems that HSV won't be granted a license.
History: On May 3, HBL refused to issue a license for the forthcoming season due to HSV's inability to show that a significant liquidity shortfall (around 2.9 million euros) would be mitigated by 12 pm. If this situation persists, Torsten Jansen's team would be demoted to the fourth division. Apparently, Hamburg's submission of the vital bank guarantee to the licensing committee arrived an hour later than anticipated.
Recently, the handball Bundesliga club faced another setback in their bid to stay. The HBL's executive committee rejected the team's appeal, establishing the verdict of the independent licensing committee. The HBL made this public on the previous Monday. Shortly after, the club indicated that it would lodge a grievance with the Court of Arbitration.
Supervisory Board member André van de Velde: "Despite a detailed legal analysis, we believe that the team should receive a license for the forthcoming season. We will, therefore, present an appeal to the arbitration court as soon as possible, hoping for a judgment in our favor."
Flensburg is aiming to solidify their third-place position against Hamburg's northern rivals. Can they achieve success?
