Mystery thieves nabbed a beer truck in Saxony-Anhalt!
Eye-catching beer lorry goes missing
The firefighters' association's beer truck had been sitting securely at the shuttered downtown area of Thale on Stecklenberg's main road. As per the initial police probe, the vehicle disappeared between 9:30 a.m. on a Thursday and 6 a.m. on a Friday. Unobserved, the criminals fled the scene.
The lorry was decked out with promotional materials for the beer brand Ur-Krostitzer and was constructed by Esselmann, the trailer's manufacturer. At the moment of the robbery, the truck was on the move, bearing the license plate HZ SF 1. The upset association has approximated the damage to be around 10,000 euros.
