Eleven athletes have departed. - What a shock! Who will remain with Dynamo now?

Midfielder Paul Will (25) has chosen to leave the team.

The players Kevin Ehlers (23, moving to Eintracht Braunschweig), Kevin Broll (28), Ahmet Arslan (30, on loan back to Magdeburg), Lucas Cueto (28), Panagiotis Vlachodimos (32), Manuel Schäffler (35), Dennis Borkowski (22, on loan back to RB Leipzig), and Kyrylo Melichenko are also heading out. Combined, that's eleven players leaving.

Interestingly, there's still one more player up in the air!

Jonathan Meier (24), a left-back, won't be extending his contract "for now" stated Dynamo in their press release. This is quite a shock given the decline in performance of the former Bayern talent. Additionally, the left-back position is in need of strengthening due to the inconsistent play of Kyu-hyun Park (23, contract until 2026). Still, the new management around coach Thomas Stamm (41) and sporting director Thomas Brendel (48) seem to be taking their time in deciding Meier's fate.

Could talks be happening with Stefan Kutschke?

The trio of Jakob Lewald (25), Tobias Kraulich (25), and Daniel Mesenhöler (28), as well as Stefan Kutschke (35), weren't mentioned as departures even though their contracts have expired. Could negotiations for renewals be in the works?

It's good news for the fans who chanted for Kutschke during the last home game against Duisburg (4:0) and held up a banner asking for his return.

Another change will come off the field as assistant coach and U19 coach Willi Weiße (36) takes on a new role in the team. Video analyst Timon Klasen (27) joins him. Talented player Jonas Saliger (20), who was on loan at 1. FC Köln II, will remain in the city.

So not only the team, but also the staff is going through changes.
