Lyon-Latte before signing: Werder acquires Alvero!
Alvero's signing is expected to take place soon, but there's a possibility that the €5 million buyout clause could be lower.
The massive 6-foot tall player (the tallest in the league) appeared in just one game as a starter for Lyon in the second half of the season. However, his six performances (scoring one goal) drew positive attention.
Earlier in the loan period, Lyon agreed to a maximum buyout option of €6.25 million. It remains uncertain if this option was utilized or if negotiations with the French club were entirely free-flowing.
