Prior to the conclusion of the season. - Weiser renews his agreement with Werder.

Wow, what a twist!

Following the sighting of his advisor Christian Nerlinger in Bremen on Thursday, the team made it official on Friday morning. After much speculation about his possible move, the regular player appeared to be in discussion about his future.

"We had detailed conversations with Weiser, and we are elated that he has chosen to continue on this journey with us," expressed professional manager Clemens Fritz (43). "His athletic worth and experience are crucial to our team, as he believes he can fulfill his sporting aspirations with Werder."

Weiser himself is also thrilled: "My family and I have settled into life in Bremen and at the club. We can see that the club is heading in the right direction, so we've decided to stick to the plan we've chosen."

Remarkably, Weiser will reach a notable milestone with this contract renewal. He will be playing his 200th Bundesliga game versus Bochum. In his 83 league games for Werder, the winger has scored 20 goals and has provided assists on nine occasions.
