Quarters of the Ice Hockey World Cup - Ways to catch Switzerland vs Germany on television
Prepare for the quarter-finals!
Following two losses and five victories, Germany finished the World Cup group stage in third place, behind Sweden and the United States.
National coach, Harold Kreis (65), is pleased with the team's group performance and remains hopeful ahead of the game against Switzerland. Kreis said, "So we're heading into the quarter-finals with high spirits, in a positive frame of mind, and an optimistic outlook."
This will be the third time in four years that Germany and Switzerland will compete in the quarter-finals. Germany emerged victorious in each of their past encounters in 2010, 2021, and 2023.
Our NHL sensation, JJ Peterka, prepares for the quarter-final showdown: "It's always exciting to go up against them. They might be a bit wary of us when you consider our recent performance."
However, Switzerland had a strong group stage. They only lost to the defending world champions, Canada. At the end of the day, they placed second in Group A. Could they avenge the outcomes of previous years?
